Hazel was the loving and devoted Mother of Levi, beloved Wife of David, cherished Mother-in-law of Halley (USA), and treasured Grandmother of Colton and Kilian. A dear Sister, Cousin, Aunt, and Daughter of the late Edna (Bwlch-Y-Gwynt) and William Whitten (Canada).
In her younger years, Hazel was a gifted athlete, proudly representing her country in multiple sports and receiving a Welsh Vest. She dedicated her career to supporting the most vulnerable, including as Deputy Head Officer at Pathways Residential facility in Gowerton. Though her health declined in later years, she found great joy in Summer visits from her American grandsons. Hazel will be fondly remembered for her humour, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Hazel made a lasting impact on everyone she met, and she will be forever missed.
Hazel loved colorful flowers, and these are welcome at the burial.
Funeral Thursday 19th December 2024 Service at Our Lady Queen Of Peace Catholic Church 10.00 a.m. followed by burial at Llanelli District Cemetery 11.30 a.m.
