DavidWILLCOCKSDavid passed away peacefully and with dignity on Friday 27th March 2026 at East Cheshire Hospice surrounded by his loving family, aged 78.
The cherished husband of Ann, loving father to Keren and Shaun, father-in-law to Sarah and Ema, much loved Grandad of Fraser, Elliott and Mariko, loved and respected uncle, brother, brother-in-law and friend to many.
David will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour, quick wit and way with words. A gentleman with a ready smile and love of travel, music, hiking, railways and writing. An avid communicator and a deep joy of spending time with family and friends, he will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, at 1pm on Friday 24th April 2026. Will friends please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating David's life. To honour David's memory, we kindly ask guests to dress smart-casually, colourful ties and touches of colour are warmly welcomed. Traditional black attire is not expected.
The family are truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards that have been sent in David's memory.
We request that instead of flowers, donations can be made to The Christie and East Cheshire Hospice. A donation box will be available at the service, however donations can be sent via the funeral directors.
