Mr Williams was a lovely man and teacher, he was a wonderful father figure and made a huge impact on my life. He was my teacher at Whitegate Juniors around 1980. He taught me how to play chess and was a genuinely kind man.

Much respect x

They say there is one teacher you remember, the one who influenced you. I remember Mr Williams with great fondness when he taught me in my final year at Berridge Junior school in 1965\6. He was straight from teacher training and it was his first teaching post. Always encouraging and enthusiastic and I actually enjoyed going to school. I’m grateful he was my teacher and may you rest in peace.

So sorry to learn of Trevor's passing. He was my teacher at Berridge Primary School in 1968/9. A lovely man with a great sense of humour and an inspired teacher who was much loved by his pupils. I know that he has been in poor health for some time and his term of trial is now over. You will always be remembered, Trevor, and many owe you a great debt for your contribution to their education. Fond memories.
