Wendy LisetteWILLIAMSIt is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Wendy Lisette Williams, on 24th February 2026 at St Julia's Hospice, aged 60, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
A devoted mother to Isaac; remembered fondly by Isaac's father, Dave; a cherished daughter to her mother Stephanie and her late father Colin; a loving sister to Rob and sister-in-law to Julie; and a proud aunt to Sophie and Tom. Wendy's kindness and gentle spirit touched all who knew her. She faced her illness with courage and grace. A loyal friend to many and an inspiring artist, Wendy was proud to serve as resident artist at Land's End until illness forced her to retire. Her work captured great beauty, and her passion for art never faded.
A private funeral will take place, followed by a celebration of Wendy's life at a later date.
Donations in memory of Wendy, in aid of Cornwall Hospice, may be given directly to the charity.
