AudreyWINKLEROf Wirksworth. On 7th December 2025, passed peacefully at Derby Heights Care Home, Littleover, aged 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Andrew, loving mother of Alex, Michael, and Kay and a dearly loved grandmother and great grandmother, who will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral Ceremony to be held at The Barn, Dale Hill Natural Burial Ground, Locko Park, Spondon. DE21 7BW on Monday 19th January 2026 at 1.00pm.

on international women’s day it seems fitting that I have only just read the sad news that Audrey has passed way . I knew Audrey from around the age of 14 when I had my 1st job walking her beloved 3x Great Danes & then went on to work for Audrey at her shop & business in Wirksworth , “Winklers”. As young women starting out in my working world, she was a truly inspirational women who taught me so many things which I have carried with me & applied many times through out my life & career . She has always held a very special place in my heart & has & never will be forgotten.
