James BurtonWOODMr James Burton Wood, of Haslingden Hall, Haslingden, died at the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Thursday, June 3, aged 92 years. He was a UK sales director at Puleo Asia Ltd until retirement. James loved sequence dancing, both playing and watching golf, and supported Burnley Football Club. James was also a member of Baxenden Golf Club. He leaves daughters Janice, Barbara, and Beverley, partner Elaine, sister Kath, and grandchildren Jessica and Jamie. He was the husband of the late Nellie. The funeral was due to be held on Thursday, June 17, 3.15pm at Burnley Crematorium. Donations if desired to North West Air Ambulance.
