David AlanWOODBRIDGEIt is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Dave 'Woody' Woodbridge on 17th July 2023 at the age of 67. The dearly loved Son of Sheila and loving Brother to Valerie, Linda, Susan, Pauline and Ian. Dave also leaves a wider family of nephews and nieces, cousins and friends. Even after a long period of illness he still faced his trials with a quiet fortitude and a dry wit. He will be remembered with great fondness. The family would like to thank the Underwood Surgery, Person Centred Care and Gloucester Royal Hospital for the care given to Dave. Funeral service to take place on Friday 4th August at 12:30pm at Cheltenham Crematorium, Willow Chapel followed by Burial at Cheltenham Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations are gratefully received for MIND and can be sent c/o W.S. Trenhaile Funeral Directors, Apostle House, 175 London Road, Cheltenham, GL52 6HN.

So sorry to hear of David's passing. He was a lovely gentle man and as you say dealt with his health issues with a dry wit. It was always a pleasure to cut his hair on the occasions he felt well enough to venture out and I was pleased to be able to do it once at his home in recent years.
