BettyWOODYETIt is with great sadness we have to announce the sudden death of Betty on 13th November 2020, aged 92 after a short illness. Loving wife of the late Tony, dearly loved mother of Jane and the late Wendy, loved mother-in-law of Chris, dearly loved grandma of Nick and great-grandma of Mawgan, loved godmother of Janet and Ant, adopted grandma of Emma and Jazzy and a friend to many after being Landlady at The Malt Shovel, Spondon for 35 years. Funeral Monday 7th December at 11:20am at Markeaton Crematorium in the Main Chapel. Flowers may be sent to Wathall's. Due to the current Covid pandemic, a private service will take place but anyone wishing to pay their respects may attend outside on arrival only at Markeaton Crematorium.
