Our fond memories of Nelly

We’ve known Nelly for over 45 years and it is like a little star has gone out!

We’ll miss her zany humour, bright cards and envelopes full of her signature stickers.
Our postman always recognised one of Nelly’s communications, especially as they were addressed to Mr and Mrs Boaty Mc Boatface, because we told her about our cruises!

Nelly was always the brightest spark wherever she was.

Whenever we spoke to Nelly we were always uplifted, she constantly had a positive outlook and we found ourselves smiling during and after chatting with her.

She will be sadly missed.

May Dear Norma's soul rest in peace . We have known Nanny Norma since 2001 who looked after our 6 years old son as a child minder until he was 12 years old. She has never let us down and had been a great friend. She taught our children a lot and had been a great help. She has played a huge part in our life. She will be sadly missed by us.

Nelly was a special friend to my Grandad Ed. They would meet up weekly for a cup of tea and a chat. When my Grandad's mobility worsened and it got too difficult for him to get around, Nelly would send him the most beautifully decorated letters and envelopes. He treasured these and kept them all in a special box.
Nelly was such a kind and special lady.

Nelly was such a kind and very special friend to my Grandad Ed. They would meet up weekly and have a chat. This continued for years, until my Grandad's mobility worsened and it was too difficult for him to get around. They would still keep in touch by letter. She would send him beautifully decorated letters and envelopes. He treasured these and kept them in a special box.
Nelly was a kind and special lady.
