ElizabethWRAIGHTThe funeral has taken place of Elizabeth Wraight (Betty), who passed away on the 23rd June 2016, aged 87. Betty had lived in Ellesmere Port for most of her life. The funeral was conducted by Rev Keith Howard at St Pauls Church, Hooton on Thursday the 14th July 2016, followed by a committal at Chester Crematorium. Betty was dedicated to her family, daughter Sandra and son-in-law Steve, grandchildren Emma and Mark and his wife Alison, and great-grandchildren Oliva, George, Joseph and Evan. We all miss her very very much. The family would like to thank all those who attended the service and the overwhelming number of people who posted memories of Betty on the Ellesmere Port, Memory Lane website. A special thank you goes to the kindness of strangers who helped and stayed with her on Princess Road until the ambulance came. Donations received have been split between the British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK. Arrangements by Anderson Independent Funeral Directors of Whitby Ellesmere Port.
