Neill AlexanderWRIGHT(Denton Burn) formerly of Slaley and Bedlington. Peacefully in hospital surrounded by his loving family on Monday 4th July 2022. aged 52 years. Ann and David would like to invite all family and friends to celebrate the life of their much-loved son who was a father, husband, brother, partner and so much more. A star that burned bright and too quickly, Neill will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him. Family and friends please meet for a service at West Road Crematorium, Newcastle on Wednesday 20th July at 12.00 noon. At Neill's request, if possible, wear something bright. All are welcome to join the family afterwards at Juve Lounge. Family flowers only please. A retiring collection will be taken at the end of the service in aid of Mind and The Newman Trust. An old school friend. Also saw him a few times when we both studied at different places in London. Neil was always a happy memory for me. He was honest and straightforward. I remember going on an expedition with him with a few others, as teens. We bivvied one night by one of those lakes by Hadrian’s Wall. He woke me early in the morning and said “come on we have to hunt breakfast for everyone.” He took out his air pistol and we went into the woods hunting! We failed at our endeavors! He is a legend in my memory.

Been a long time Neill since Rob and I saw you, but we have spoken of you often, and with fondness. My thoughts are with you mom and dad as I know what its like to lose a son, R.I.P Neill.xxx
