John L BYATES(Jarrow formerly of Wallsend) Passed away suddenly on Saturday 16/05/2020 at home. Beloved husband of the late Anne Yates, devoted and much loved father of Alison and Nigel, father-in-law of Michael and grandfather of Laura, Simon, Ross, and Eleanor. Brother of Barbara, Peter and the late David and Molly. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, a gentle giant, a true gentleman, with a kind and caring nature. At peace now with his much loved late wife Anne, together again for eternity. Funeral service to take place in South Shields Crematorium on Monday 8th June at 11.15am.
