VivienneYATESDied peacefully at home with her family by her side on January 3, aged 78.
Vivienne was born in Britannia, Bacup, in August 1947, the daughter of Ernest and Mary Tomlinson.
She grew up in Bacup where she attended Blackthorn School.
On leaving school she passed her City and Guilds in Catering Management after which she worked in
school kitchens, latterly in Fearns school kitchen as head cook.
Vivienne retired in 2003 whereafter she spent much time caring for family, spending time with Doyle and her friends.
Vivienne is survived by husband Wilfred, children Jayne, Jonathan and Simone, grandchildren: Doyle, Katie, Sam, Hannah, Harvey and sister Joyce.
A funeral service will be held at Knight and Boys Funeral Home, Stacksteads on January 27 at 10am,
followed by a burial at Whitworth Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations to be made to Rossendale Hospice in Vivienne's memory,
this can be done through Knight and Boys Funeral Home, Stacksteads.
