TonyYATESSadly passed away on Saturday 31st January 2026 aged 75 years surrounded by his family.

Beloved husband of June, father of Matt and Becky, father-in-law of Beth and Nix.

Tony who was a former Councillor, Honorary Alderman, former teacher at Roundhill & Antiquarian Book Dealer, will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

The funeral service for Tony will take place on Friday 6th March 2026 at 2:00pm at Gilroes Crematorium Groby Road, Leicester LE3 9QG

followed by a celebration of Tony's life at The Harrow Inn, Melton Road, Leicester LE4 8EB.
