Tom Owen and Son has been caring for families in Llandudno and across North Wales since 1930. Now in our fourth generation, we remain an independent, family-run funeral director, combining traditional values with a personal, modern and compassionate approach to funeral care.
We understand that when someone dies, families can feel overwhelmed by both the emotional and practical decisions that need to be made. Our role is to guide you through those decisions calmly and clearly, giving you the time, information and support you need to make choices that feel right for you and your family.
Every person is different, and we believe every funeral should reflect that. We can arrange everything from simple unattended cremations and traditional funeral services to highly personalised celebrations of life, including more complex or unusual funeral arrangements.
Families are encouraged to be as involved as they wish. This may include spending time with the person who has died, helping with their care, choosing clothing, placing personal items with them, helping to carry the coffin or taking part in other meaningful aspects of the funeral. We will always explain what is possible and support you without pressure.
Alongside arranging funerals, we provide in-house floral tributes and funeral stationery, memorials and headstones, pre-paid funeral plans and ongoing bereavement support. We also have our own chapel of rest and an experienced care team, allowing us to look after people locally and personally throughout their time with us.
As an established independent funeral director, we believe strongly in openness, choice and transparency. We will explain costs clearly, answer any questions you may have and never expect you to make decisions before you are ready.
