Claridge Funeral Service is owned and run by Mary, Richard and Daniel Claridge. Longstanding members of the community, the Claridge family have taken part in community events, fundraising and provided employment for the people of Marlborough.
Claridge Funeral Service was set up by Daniel, who started learning his trade in the funeral industry at the age of 13 when working for the local funeral service. Upon leaving school, Daniel joined the Salisbury College of Funeral Sciences and it was here that he learned the basics of the funeral industry, progressing through his studies to become the youngest qualified funeral director in the country, aged 18.
Daniel started Claridge Funeral Service with the express intention of providing personal and respectful funerals for people being laid to rest. From the minute details of each ceremony to the coffin for the deceased’s final resting place, every aspect of the funeral service is catered to in accordance with your exact wishes.
