We hear you asking “Where does the name YOLO come from and what do your colours stand for?” – we love a good question. It all started with our funeral director, Leyton Moores. He and our trusted team, have been working in the funeral industry for many moons, with over 50 years of combined experience. When a big old family discussion was met with Leyton’s recognition for the overly traditional UK funeral industry, the idea for something refreshingly innovative was born. For funerals to be done differently – starting with the name, YOLO.
YOLO or You Only Leave Once, signifies exactly that – live every day to the fullest and when it is time to celebrate the life of a lost loved one, we will support you in getting it right the first and only time.
On to the colours. Apart from being nice to look at, our colours represent diversity. Diversity of our people, our communities and our wishes. They prove our ability as your chosen friends in funerals to adapt and transform your thoughts into the idyllic celebration of your loved ones life. Our colours symbolise light in dark times as we rewrite the script on funerals and celebrate a life once lived.
