Lindsay has been arranging and conducting funerals in Weston super Mare, Nailsea, Banwell, Bristol and Somerset area since 1993 and passed the National Association of Funeral Director's diploma in Funeral Directing in 2002. Sue, her cousin, joined the team in 2018 to assist in all aspects of the profession.
C V Gower Funeral Directors was established over 90 years ago by the Gower family. Until 2010 the business was being run by the third generation of the family, John and Marian Gower. Due to John's ill health, they sold the business and premises to Lindsay. As a Local Independent Family Funeral Directors, we endeavour to give a personal and professional service at a difficult and distressing time for you.
The business continues to be run from our arrangement office at 19 Woodborough Road, Winscombe and our Chapel of Rest on The Square, Winscombe.
We are able to help arrange all types of funeral services, whether a direct (unattended) cremation, a green funeral, a traditional funeral, even a celebration of life gathering.
